After speaking with Nate at an open house, he offered to meet with my mother to provide her information in the process of selling her home. She told him she’d sell it if she never had to list it nor show it (!) as the whole thing seemed overwhelming. The whole family was convinced it would never happen.
Months go by, Nate checks in from time to time, then out of the blue he calls and says, “I know it’s crazy but I think I’ve got the buyer for your mom’s house!”

Nate was an amazing realtor, especially as a first time home buyer. He was patient, knowledgeable, and altruistic in his intentions. Nate answered the 10,000 questions we asked, never getting exasperated when we didn’t understand. His past experience as a teacher was obvious as his explanations were detailed and very clear. Moreover, Nate is knowledgeable about home renovation, and was able to offer insight into potential changes to the various properties we viewed. Nate was never pushy, and always encouraged caution rather than risk. When it came time to make an offer, Nate walked us through the different scenarios in a very detailed manner so that we had all the facts. At no point during the process did my wife or I feel pressure from Nate. Nate’s knowledge of the local area and businesses was a great resource. Every other professional he put us in contact with were dynamite. We can’t recommend Nate Randall as a realtor enough… especially if it’s for your first home. Nate was is an amazing realtor to work with. We were selling one house while buying another, and he helped us greatly with both. He sent a photographer to take beautiful, high quality pictures of the house we were selling, and made sure that we had a clause in the sale contract that would allow us to stay in the house a few days after escrow closed on the sale house allowing us to move without panicking about the timelines not lining up perfectly between the two houses. Nate was a huge help in the negotiation process. We were able to get our new home below asking price, and with appliances that were not originally part of the deal, and we sold the old house for over our original listing price. He was extremely responsive on all communication, and always one step ahead of the process to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. This showed particularly well when our first buyers fell through. We did not lose the house we were trying to buy because he worked so quickly to get us into contract with a new buyer. This was the second time my husband and I were on the selling end of a house, and the third time we were buyers. It was our first time working with Nate, and I must say that he was by far the best realtor we’ve worked with for both transactions. I would highly recommend him for anyone buying or selling a house. Also, If he gives you any advice, take it. He clearly knows what he is doing.
I highly recommend Nate Randall. We met Nate at on open house as we were shopping for a home in Monterey. We had lived in San Jose all our lives and were finally going to take a leap and move to Monterey just because we liked Monterey so much. Once we had Nate as our realtor, we continued going to open houses as well as having Nate show us houses. The whole process was exciting, but also very emotional at times. Once we met Nate, it took us over a year to actually make the leap. One of the best things about working with Nate is that he checked in with us and assured us that we would find the right home when the time was right. No pressure, just reassurance. Nate is professional, friendly, organized, and a good listener. Once we found the house we wanted, the rest was a breeze. Nate was our realtor for the purchase of one home and the sale of another. He handled every detail of both with exceptional skill and expertise. He listened closely to all our concerns and answered every question. After helping us find the perfect home that met all the criteria that we were looking for, he arranged for all the inspections, making sure there were no problems, and helped us decide on a fair offer that was below asking price, and was accepted immediately. Escrow closed quickly without any problems. His greatest help came in listing and selling the home that we had owned for years. Nate made several suggestions for improvements that increased the value of the home substantially. He then coordinated all the vendors for the improvements; put together a fantastic marketing package; and sold the home on the first weekend it was listed.
