As a first time home seller, we were very unsure how to go about the whole process. We chose Nate Randall as our agent partly because we knew of him, and mostly because from the first day we met with him about selling, he was very helpful with suggestions of what we could do to get the most out of the sale of our mom’s home. We found him to be hardworking, honest, knowledgeable and a really nice man.
He was hands on the whole way through, making recommendations of contractors for work (painting, plumbing, hardwood floor refinishing) and meeting with the inspectors and contractors to see that things were being done right. He was clear and concise in information he provided us, and was knowledgeable in what was required in the city with regard to inspections and certifications for selling. When it came time to review offers, he let us ask all the questions we had, and validated our concerns and thoughts. Since there were 15 offers, we had a lot to discuss! All in all, he made the entire process easy for us. I would highly recommend him to family or friends who were looking for a talented, great realtor.




If you are looking for a buyers agent, I highly recommend Nate. We began working with Nate after ending a relationship with another Realtor that we had lost trust in. We were buying from afar, so needed someone we trusted to be our advocate and eyes on the ground. Nate is an excellent listener and understood what we were seeking, what we were willing to compromise, and what were red flags that we were going to walk away from. We like older houses, so expected to have some deferred maintenance, but we didn’t want a bottomless “money pit”.
Nate’s experience with the market and his explanation of what was positive, neutral, and negative enabled us to be ready to offer when the right property for us came on market. It was a members-only MLS listing and he provided lots of information before it went public, about neighborhood, lot configuration, and what it means to be on the historical resource inventory. As soon as it listed, he got in there and took a video so we’d get a feel for the house flow. He recommended a home inspector that also did floor maps so we would have that for reference. He worked with the seller’s Realtor to arrange the inspection and contractor visits for when we could visit. As a checklist/timeline kind of person, I really appreciated the timeline he generated to stay on schedule and keep an eye on what was next. We felt comfortable following his advice in both what we offered and how to maintain a positive tone through the negotiations and escrow process. At closing, there was a weird delay with one seller document, and he kept us apprised and gave us a nice gift when we finally recorded. All in total, a successful working relationship and excited about our new home Nate helped us buy.
